This morning me and a couple of girls headed back to the V&A because of all the things we weren't able to see the first time. And I'm glad we did. We had a cool experience while roaming through a section with artwork done by local students. As we were admiring a watercolor painting, a lady came up behind us. She asked us, "Do you like the painting." When we said yes, she then told us that she was the one that painted it! After telling her that we liked it, she said that we made her day and walked off with a huge smile. We felt good about that.
We also explored the glass section in the museum, which was pretty amazing! I found my future banister:
| I couldn't get enough of it! So beautiful. |

Beautiful light fixtures that will be in my future home also :)
And of course it's always cool to see things you've learned about in class. Here is the Eames wire chair with a Tulip table by Saarinen:
| Beautiful! I think the tulip table is one of my favorites. |
I posted a picture of this piece on an earlier blog post, but this view is from above. I didn't realize they were REAL instruments that the artist had smashed. So cool!
Tonight I had the "amazing" experience of standing for three hours straight while watching a play at the Globe Theater. But as tiring as it was, it really was sooo worth it! It was a cool being so close to the stage. The play was Much Ado About Nothing, which is a fabulous play in my opinion. One of the main characters in the play was actually the actor that played the butler on Fresh Prince of Bel Air! I thought that was cool. I'm pretty sure he looked me in the eyes a few times. And he was like seven feet away from me! Definitely an experience that won't be forgotten.

And a lovely night to end a lovey day:
